Role & Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Working Foreman / Lead Carpenter who can lead crews while remaining hands-on in the field.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Organizing employees and subcontractors to maintain a safe, efficient, and productive site
  • Ensuring projects meet construction deadlines
  • Communicating with management to coordinate materials and labour
  • Acting as a working foreman — leading by example and mentoring team members
  • Maintaining strong site safety standards
  • Interpreting drawings and organizing crew workflow

Qualifications
  • Experience in heritage construction (asset)
  • Strong hands-on experience in:
    • General construction
    • Wood framing
    • Finish carpentry
  • Knowledge of scaffold systems and aerial lift access
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Experience organizing and supervising employee crews
  • Strong work ethic and leadership skills
