Machine Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Panel Press Operator to join our client a manufacturing company in Vaughan for an afternoon shift. This role involves operating and maintaining panel pressing machinery to produce high-quality components. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with heavy equipment, and proficiency with various hand and power tools. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on precision manufacturing and assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate panel press machinery safely and efficiently to meet production targets
• Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on press equipment to prevent downtime
• Assist with assembly, machining and other fabrication tasks as needed
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to support manufacturing processes
• Load and unload materials using forklifts or other heavy equipment while adhering to safety protocols
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards

Requirements

• Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment and machinery
• Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or warehouse machinery preferred
• Familiarity with machining, assembly, welding, and the use of hand tools and power tools
• Prior experience in manufacturing, construction, or warehouse environments is advantageous
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and productivity
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required

This is an immediate requirement from our client.

Shift time 3:30pm 12:30am

Pay is $20 per hour plus shift premium
